It is always amazing to me that any tourist photo can bring back the actual experience and is one reason why painters get better results if they took the photo!

These photos of Monet’s Garden were taken by Vicki and Randy Ross while visiting Giverny. It was an overcast day that is closed to the public; open for registered groups. Funny how memories are triggered…smells, sounds, sights, and related experiences. Experienced painters know that working from their own images yields a more interesting painting.

I jumped through hoops to get this formal printed because it is vertical not horizontal. It will fit with other paper pads and folders you carry to meetings and will read like a book.
